1.	Election of Chairman Minutes: The Democratic Services Officer invited nominations for the election of Chairman for the Private Hire & Hackney Carriage Regulatory Sub – Committee for this meeting only.
2.	Disclosures of Interests from Members To receive disclosures of interests from Members (i.e. the existence and the nature of those interests in respect of items on this agenda). Minutes: No disclosures were received.
3.	EXEMPT INFORMATION To consider passing the following resolution: “That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that the item involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act. Exemption Category: 1 Reason for Exemption: the report contains personal information about the Licence Holder. Public Interest Test: The public interest test has been considered and, in all the circumstances of the case, the public interest in maintaining the exemption is considered to outweigh the public interest in disclosing the information.” Minutes: Considered – A proposed resolution to exclude members of the public from the meeting.
4.	Private Hire Driver View the reasons why item 4. is restricted To consider the report of the Senior Licensing & Enforcement Officer (enclosed). Minutes: Considered – Report of the Senior Technical Officer – Licensing. The Sub-Committee would advise that if the Private Hire Driver feels under pressure, then the Driver should seek medical advice.
