“That under Section 100(A)(4) of the Local Government Act, 1972, the public be excluded from the meeting for the following item on the grounds that the item involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the said Act.

Reason for Exemption: the report contains information which is likely to reveal the identity of an individual.

To review a fit and proper person status for a Private Hire Driver
To consider the report of the Licensing Team Leader (enclosed). Additional documents:
Minutes: The licence holder did not attend the hearing, and as they had offered no explanation for their absence the Sub-Committee agreed to consider the case in his absence.
The Chairman read the out the procedure to all attendees.
The Licensing Team Leader presented his report.
The Committee put questions to the Licensing Team Leader.
The sub-committee retired from the meeting at 17:45pm to consider their decision.
The sub-committee reconvened the meeting at 18:17pm.
