The minutes of the meeting held on 20 May 2010, as circulated, were approved as a correct record.

Matters arising from the Minutes

Minutes:

A47 Car Boot

 

Cllr D Freer was present at the meeting in respect of the A47 Car Boot, and he asked parishioners if they had any further concerns regarding the noise from the tannoy system.

 

Parishioners responded that there had not been any problems with noise.

Postcodes for Leicester Forest West

 

The Chairman reported that he had received a letter from Royal Mail in respect of postcodes and that they were continuing to look into the matter.

 

Housing Needs Questionnaire

 

Cllr E White explained the planning process and reported on the current situation in respect of housing needs in the Blaby District.

 

Cllr E White also commented on the impending budget implications over the next few months.

 

Leaflets

 

The Chairman circulated to parishioners the leaflets that he had received in respect of the following :

 

  • Community Safety
  • Winter Gritting Routes
  • Future of Transport in Leicestershire – Have your say – Consultation

 

Tree Preservation Order

 

Parishioners raised the question whether there was an expiry date on the Tree Preservation Order, The Brake, Peckleton Lane, LFW,

 

The Clerk to the meeting to enquire whether or not there is an expiry date on the Tree Preservation Order.
