2.	ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN Minutes: The Clerk invited nominations for the election of Chairman for the Leicester Forest West Parish Meeting.
3.	Matters arising from the Minutes View the background to item 3. Minutes: A47 Car Boot Parishioners raised their concerns about the traffic situation around the site of the A47 Car Boot sale on Sunday mornings. Councillor E White reported that he would contact the operator of the site in respect of traffic problems. The response from Councillor E White is as follows:- On the Sunday in question a vehicle had broken down which had caused considerable problems with the management of the traffic going into and out of the site. A second access was opened so that the situation could be managed, which is in accordance with the planning permission, and the operator himself stewarded the traffic until the situation was bought under control, it is understood that the Enforcement Officer and Blaby District Council was happy with how the situation was managed.
4.	Any Other Business View the background to item 4. Minutes: Community Forum The Chairman reported that he had attended a presentation at County Hall by the Chief Constable in respect of Policing the Future – Public Engagement. He said that the presentation had been very interesting and that there was to be another meeting at the Police Headquarters in June. Neighbourhood Watch The Chairman advised the meeting that he would do an updated list with the name of the house after the postcode. Councillor E White Councillor E White contributed to the meeting and explained the planning process in respect of District Housing. He also talked about the reduction in spending due to the budget cuts but stated that no services had been taken away.
5.	Date of next meeting View the background to item 5. Minutes: That the next Parish Meeting be arranged for a date in October in consultation with the Chairman.
