Matters arising from the Minutes Minutes: Hinckley Rail Freight Terminal
The Chairman advised that he had attended a meeting on the 14th June 2022 in regards to the Hinckley Rail Freight Terminal.
Cllr. Maggie Wright advised residents that the developer will be going forward on 24th October 2022 with their application.
Cllr. Maggie Wright also advised that Blaby District Council is prepared to respond to the application.

Any Other Business Minutes: District Councillor Update
Cllr. Mike Shirley advised that he has been involved with work surrounding the High Cross Monument. He advised that Sharnford Parish Council are funding a notice board which will display the history of the Monument as well as potentially installing boulders to protect the land.
Cllr. Mike Shirley advised that a recent Panning application has been submitted for a Solar Farm on land in Aston Flamville.
Residents asked if there has been any objections to the application.
Cllr. Mike Shirley responded that he has seen 2 objections.
Cllr. Maggie Wright advised the residents that the Fosse Villages Neighbourhood Plan had now been fully adopted.
Village Green
Residents requested information about whether they are insured to hold events on the village green.
Cllr. Mike Shirley responded that he will seek advice from Blaby District Council and circulate information to residents.
Boundary Commission Review Update
Cllr. Mike Shirley advised residents that Blaby District Council currently have 39 Councillors and will be reducing them to 36. He informed residents this is due to a recent review.
Local Crime
The Chairman advised residents of some local crime that has occurred recently, he explained that he has been in contact with the police and enquired about the Neighbourhood link service.
